Hi, I am Giulia
I work as a project manager, a parent, and an expat residing in Rome, Italy.
A few years back I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to Italy wasn't part of the grand plan. Like many international relocations, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far larger.
The initial months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, routines, and expectations. Day-to-day tasks seemed more complicated than expected.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and a lot of learning by doing. But gradually, routines began to take shape. We found spots that suited us, connected with other families, and started building something that felt steady.
Why I Built Miro Tave Nila
Most information found online was either corporate relocation guidance or shallow tourism content. What was missing was an authentic, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to bridge that gap — practical advice drawn from real life in Italy.
What This Site Is (And Isn't)
This site IS:
- Hands-on experience from living in Italy
- Centered on family life and daily realities
- Updated whenever there is a real change
This site ISN'T:
- A tourism authority resource
- Paid-review platform
- A generic travel blog
Looking Ahead
Our stay in Italy goes on, and so does the learning journey. As long as the information remains helpful, I’ll continue recording what we discover.
If you have questions about family life in Rome or anywhere in Italy, don't hesitate to get in touch.
Best regards,
Giulia
